Welcome to a special place for the families who went on the 2012 Family Trip to Israel, July 24th through August 4th.  Feel free to use this site however you want. The site is curated by Chris Gardner, and feel free to send him any requests for what you’d like to see here.

For now, check out the 2 pages that are setup so far: a page that links to online photo albums, and a simple blog page for remembrances of our trip.

We’ll use Google’s Picasa Web Albums to collect and share photos from our trip. The nice thing about that is anyone can download a full-resolution copy of any (or all!) of the photos in the albums. You don’t need to pay anything, or even create a Picasa (or Google) account to get any of the photos, since they’re shared among us.

So far, we’ve setup online photo albums, one for each day of the trip. If you’d like to get your photos uploaded into one or more of the albums, there are several ways:

1. Get me a thumbdrive or memory card from your camera with the files you want uploaded (I’ll return the card when I’ve got them). You can leave it for me at TRS, or we can arrange to meet (for coffee?) and I can just copy the files from your card as we sip.
2. Upload them to your own Picasa Web Album (Google users), and share that album with me.
3. I’ll add an upload capability to this website soon so you can upload them directly from your computer.
